Weekend Fun!

Korean Tradition
Two weekends ago, our friends the Reigh Family had us over for some Traditional Korean food and games.

Jee and Yoon Ha taught me how to cook a traditional meal!

Yoon Ha definitely did most of the work. Really.

The boys talked (Yoon Ha, too) while we were working hard.

DELICIOUS!

A traditional Korean Game: Yunori

St. Patrick's Day? In Seoul?!?
A flying Guinness balloon parade? And green hats everywhere...

After feeling Irish for a few minutes, we walked around a new part of Seoul...

and had a nice, American-style burger. With fries.

It was really tasty--so tasty that I let Ben take that hideous picture of me to show my first bite of American hamburger.

February...and some of March

The Couch:
We needed a couch. A friend found this lovely thing at her dumpster. We said, "sure, we'll take it!", not knowing what that would imply. Ten minutes later, there were four of us-a Japanese woman, a cheerful Korean, and us two Americans-that were carrying this bright, orange, bright couch down the street. After some cleaning up, this is what we ended up with:

He barely fits.

Dinner at the Reigh (Lee) family home:
Real, delicious, home-cooked Korean food made by our friend Jee!

Sweet little Yoon-Ha loves chocolate.

Korean Movie at the giant CGV Theater in Seoul:

"Hi, I'm the Korean PC guy."

Kimchi Museum:
Delicious, and-as we learned-very, very nutritious.

LMC Ski Trip:

Sickly Jen went to the Sauna with the girls instead:

Staff dinner. After a long day at the spa, I was exhausted:
