Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

After work tonight, which ended at 10:30, Ben said "why am I so hungry?" We realized that this day is typically the one day of the year where we just eat because it tastes good, and then eat more. And then eat more, watch some football, eat more, and then fall asleep. It seems that our bodies are so used to being ridiculously full on this day by the time 10:30 rolls around. Our Thanksgiving celebration wasn't much of anything, as there were no pilgrims that landed on the shores of Korea. We had some people wish us a happy day, and we reflected a bit on the things we are thankful for.

Please leave us a note and share about your holiday. We hope that you are enjoying time with family and friends. We also hope that you are not taking the delicious Thanksgiving menu for granted! Tell us what you are eating, too! Jen will attempt to make a couple of *small* holiday dishes in the new toaster oven, and recipe ideas are much appreciated.

Happy eating, and happy napping!

Jen and Ben!
Seth and I have enjoyed greatly reading your blog and hearing about the things that you guys are doing/experiencing in Korea. It sounds like you are enjoying yourself and having a great time so far meeting people and experiencing the culture. We do wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. We have not yet enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner, but I can not wait for all the yummy food. We are enjoying our time in Ohio with Seth's family and are glad to have a little vacation to get away. We miss you guys tons! Love you! Seth and Nikki

Thanks for the tidbit of sympathy. Even though I knew better and should have checked, I was still disappointed with myself. :( Sad. But hey, I cooked! I'm getting there! I'm so glad we got to talk today. I look forward to hearing more about your lovely adventures in the ol' South Korea. Love you both!

My friends! Happy Thanksgiving! Sorry that Koreans aren't as over-indulgent as Americans...bummer. I hope you guys had a good day anyways. It must be weird to be away from home for the holidays. Jen, I had a dream about you the other night...we were playing volleyball together and you were an amazing net player! Funny, huh? As I recall being told that you and I would be the "Japanese backrow players?!" I must be missing you. You are loved and missed and thought of often.

Hey guys!
I have finally made checking your blog a part of my internet routine. sounds like the living situation is ideal... especially if you were hobbits! Matt and I just got a Christmas tree yesterday and although it was one of the smaller trees at the tree farm it is still gigantic. It takes up a good 25% of our living room. Another piece of good news is that Matt's 6ft inflatable Santa is working again and will reside on our porch for the Christmas season. We miss you terribly! Brittany Baughman
